SVS 2019 – A Tenth Anniversary Celebration!

The tenth annual Society of Vineyard Scholars conference will be held on May 2-4, 2019 in Minneapolis, MN, USA. All meetings will be held on the campus of Mercy Vineyard, a growing, diverse church in Northeast Minneapolis. This interdisciplinary, international conference is for all Vineyard and “Vineyard-friendly” folks who like to think theologically in community.

A tenth anniversary celebration, SVS 2019 will focus on developing conversations central to Vineyard theology and practice. Among other things, we will pay particular attention to the theological impact and implications of a core prayer of the Vineyard, “Come, Holy Spirit” — an ancient prayer of the Church and the theme of the upcoming VineyardUSA National Leadership Conference.

The Call For Papers for SVS 2019 will be distributed by November 1st, 2018, including extensive details about conference themes and a request for paper proposals. Shortly thereafter, full conference details will follow, including information about plenary speakers, registration, housing, travel, and so on.
